The carbon heating film that we use is ideally suited to the studio application, at 1mm thick with a 6mm insulation board underlay the whole system has a negligible effect on the overall floor height meaning that you get more head room inside!

The film is designed as a heating system (not just floor warming) and gives even heat coverage beneath the whole floor. Given the levels of insulation in the floor, the power requirements of the heating system are not high resulting in low energy bills and a happy planet!
